The first series of wisdom webinars, The Tree of Life, begins on September 11, 2016. This series is an in-depth investigation into the nature of the seven centers or ten sefirot in the Etz haChayim, the Kabbalisitc Tree of Life. Over the fourteen sessions, we will explore the spiritual qualities and emanations of each sefirah. We will outline the dynamics of their development, and the process of their individual and collective evolution.

Each session will include 20 minutes of guided meditation, followed by 45 minutes of teaching intermingled with textual study, Q&A and discussion.

To attend a session you must register by the Friday before the session

Malkhut – Kingship: The Center at the Base of the Spine

  • Malkhut is the earth pole.
  • It is the abode of the Shekhinah – the feminine aspect of God.

Yesod – Foundation: The Sacral Center

  • Yesod is the cohesive force of the Universe. It is the power that binds all things together.
  • Yesod symbolizes the profusion of life.

Netzach / Hod – Eternity / Splendor: The Solar Plexus Center

  • Netzach / Hod is the battleground for victory (netzachon) over the lower emotions.
  • It is the sefirah that enables us to experience the splendor of the inner reality.

Tiferet –Beauty: The Heart Center

  • The beauty of each person’s soul is revealed in tiferet, through the energy of Divine Love which flows through this sefirah.

Chesed / Gevurah – Mercy / Power: The Throat Center

  • Chesed / Gevurah is a sefirah of great power.
  • It harnesses the might of words.
  • Chesed / Gevurah unites the energy of heart and mind.

Chochmah / Binah – Wisdom / Understanding: The Third Eye

  • The sefirah of Chochmah / Binah is the center of the mind.
  • Through this sefirah, we link our individual mind with the Universal Mind of God.

Session 13 – April 23, 2017

Keter – Crown: The Crown Center

  • Keter is the culmination of the spiritual life.
  • In the sefirah of Keter, we merge with our source in God and are crowned as a spiritual king or queen.

Session 14 – April 30, 2017

Daat – Knowledge: The Hidden Center

  • Daat is a mysterious sefirah which is not part of the usual workings of the Etz haChayim – the Kabbalistic Tree of Life.
  • Daat comes into play at specific moments during our spiritual evolution.
  • It imparts knowledge of both the world and the Heavenly Realm.
