OUTLINE SESSION SIX
INCARNATION AND EVOLUTION IN THE DIVINE KINGDOM

DIVINE PERFECTION
I.
a. On one level, in the Ein Sof, the Absolute, God is already perfect.
b. On another level, the whole manifest universe is in a process of evolution, of becoming perfect.
c. Our lives are part of this process of perfection. It is the central reason for our existence upon this earth.

II.
a. The Divine Being that oversees and vitalizes the life of our planet works in dimensions of life, space and time that we can hardly begin to comprehend.
b. We cannot imagine what the end product of five or ten billion years of life will be.
c. The Divine Beings incarnate in great cycles of alternating activity and contemplation.
d. One such period of activity represents the entire lifespan of our planet.

CREATION

I.
a. We can understand the process of Divine activity through the description of the Creation of the world in the Torah.
b. There is both a spiritual and a physical dimension to the creation process.
c. On each level of creation, the masculine Divine aspect and the feminine Divine aspect unite together to form the basis for the life of that level.
d. Each of the seven planes of Earth was created with the energy of one of the seven sephirot.
e. Each of the seven planes represents another level of life on our planet.

II.
a. The Ethics of the Fathers (5:1) speaks of ten Divine utterances through which God established the world.
b. These ten utterances are the ten sephirot, or seven Yogic/Kabalistic energy centers.
c. The ten Divine utterances are ten energetic vibrations that set all life on this planet into motion.

THE EVOLUTION OF ZEIR ANPIN AND GAN EDEN TACHTON

I.
a. The spiritual evolution of Zeir Anpin, the Lesser Countenance is described in the teachings of the Ari through a symbolic process of physical development.
b. This process is divided into three stages: ibbur (pregnancy), yanikkah (breast-feeding), and gadlut hamochin (development of the mind or brain).
c. These symbolic stages represent the stages of formation, development and full functioning of Gan Eden Tachton, the Lower Garden of Eden – the heart center of the planet.
d. The creation of Zeir Anpin and the formation of Gan Eden Tachton are equivalent to the development of the ruach or individual soul and the formation of the tzelem or soul-body in a human being.
e. With the development of the heart center of the planet, humanity was able to reach further into the supernal planes of Earth, attain more elevated states of consciousness, and receive more refined levels of energy.
f. Today, Gan Eden Tachton is a highly-evolved center of Divine power and activity in the Planetary Consciousness.
